The LNG vehicular fuel tanks designed and patented by Cryogenic Fuels are manufactured and warranted by Hebeler Corporation of Tonawanda N Y. The tanks are fabricated, tested and certified in accordance with engineering production drawings and performance specifications provided by CFI under a contract manufacturing arrangement. In 2001 Ken Snyder, former VP and John Coleman, former General Manager of Snyder Tank Corporation acquired the Hebeler Corporation.

Snyder Tank Corporation founded in 1939 was a leading supplier of diesel fuel tanks to original equipment makers (OEM) of medium and heavy-duty trucks, with a 60 % market share. In response to the emerging alternative fuels market, in the early 1990's, a company-funded effort was initiated to produce and market LNG vehicle fuel tanks specifically designed for transit bus, refuse and heavy-duty truck applications.

This program was completed under a technology licensing agreement with Cryogenic Fuels Inc. and resulted in a Department of Energy (DOE) contract for a 100 gallon, light weight, medium pressure, LNG vehicle fuel tank. In addition, the CFI/Snyder LNG fuel tank design was selected by Roadway Express for regional fleet implementation after a two-year, competitive operational test and evaluation.

Hebeler Corporation, under the former Snyder Tank management team, has been the exclusive manufacturer of LNG vehicle fuel tanks for CFI projects in Korea, China and Australia since 2004.
