February 2002 - PED/ISO Compliance:

As of February 1, 2002, Hebeler Corporation is manufacturing it's equipment to the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) as required by its customers.

This directive is aimed at standardizing regulations across Europe for the design, manufacture and conformity assessment of pressure equipment and assemblies that have a maximum allowable pressure greater than 0.5 bar gauge. This will become mandatory for all pressure equipment going to Europe by May 29, 2002. Some examples of equipment covered by this directive include: shell and tube boilers, heat exchangers, plant vessels, pressurized storage containers and industrial pipework.

The inclusion of the PED standard is another example of Hebeler's ongoing commitment to quality and technical expertise in the markets that it serves.

Hebeler Corporation, Military Road location, has been ISO Certified since the spring of 1994, and was the second custom alloy manufacturer in the United States to do so.
